Two new exhibitions “At the Water’s Edge” by Cherie Peters and “Homage to the Trees of De Tonti” curated by Derek Norman. These exhibitions are made possible by the National Endowment for the Arts.
4. Sophiella Gallery: 111 Dauphin St.
Help Sophiella welcome Dallas-based artist Joe Turner. View his large-scale contemporary abstract paintings, as seen in Crate & Barrel, while perusing work by all gallery artists—upstairs and down.

Artist Tony Rodriguez is setting up camp at AC Satellite with “Homestead Extinction,” an immersive pop-up that tackles the growing housing crisis. Alabama Contemporary will have member bar available throughout the night, and an artist talk at 7 p.m.

This month’s Kids Zone celebrates National World Theater Day with an interactive Three Billy Goats Gruff story. Kids can enjoy crafts inspired by the tale, create their own characters and scenery, and take home fun, literacy-boosting projects. Plus, enjoy a theater event with Kathy! Come play, create, and enjoy a theater-inspired evening!

Performance Zone: 1 N. Hamilton St.
The Blazing Gems will perform at 7pm, followed by the Joe Jefferson Players with a sneak peak of their upcoming production of “Guys and Dolls” at 7:30pm.
