We took the kids on a roller skating field trip for their last day of the summer trimester of school! For some of them, this was their very first experience on roller skates, others had gone a few times before, and some were already proficient on skates. It was nice to have the skating rink to ourselves to provide a safe place to learn! At the beginning of our time there, we had five of those learning frames out to help beginners get the hang of it while they learned how to navigate around on rollers. Toward the end of our time, most of them had been left on the sidelines as they began making gains in confidence and balance! They LOVED this time of learning something fun together!!
