It's our last meeting of the 2025/2026 session on Wednesday 27th May. It's a short business meeting, luncheon and a plant exchange, all starting at 11am. Please bring a covered dish or dessert for the luncheon, club is providing cooked ham. Bring a potted plant for the plant exchange, either houseplant of garden plant, your choice.

Hello! My name is John Rice and I’m with the American Legion post 96 in Perry. We are having a volunteer-fueled clean up day at the Veterans Memorial Park to make it presentable for Memorial Day. During our last clean up, a few Master Gardeners volunteered and were a great asset in plant identification and maintenance. We would like to extend an invitation to the entirety of your club! Wow, I lost a week, bronchitis after a heavy cold, don't know if wildfire smoke was a factor! Hope you are all ready to do a rain dance today and tomorrow ... we have to have rain this time. Everything is going to be so happy, get ready to dance in the rain!!

Hi All, well the main structural plants are pretty much in in our NGC Disaster Grant funded restoration garden, just waiting on some italian cypress that will be planted in the Fall. Late Summer once the weather cools we plan to start adding the 'soft furnishings' of grasses, border plants and perennial plants. What we would also love to add are a couple of benches and a water feature, and would love if someone in our wonderful community could donate these items to us.
