Bible Reflection
Jeremiah 49:35 says, “I will break the bow of Elam.”Elam was ancient Persia, which is modern day Iran. The bow represented military strength, pride, and power.
This prophecy had a historical fulfillment, but Persia is also mentioned again in future prophecy.
Ezekiel 38:5 says, “Persia, Cush, and Put are with them,” describing a coalition of nations that will come against Israel.
Throughout Scripture, Israel remains central to God’s timeline.
Genesis 12:1 to 3Ezekiel 36 and 37Zechariah 12:2 and 3Matthew 24:6 to 8
Jesus warned there would be wars and global instability, calling them the beginning of birth pains. He also said no one knows the day or hour.
Matthew 24:36Acts 1:7
The Bible also teaches that God is sovereign over leaders and nations.
Daniel 2:21Proverbs 21:1
Because of this, I believe God can use any leader He chooses to accomplish His purposes, even imperfect ones. We see this throughout Scripture with kings and rulers.
In our time, I believe God is using President Trump as part of larger global movements and shifting alliances that Scripture told us would come. That does not mean perfection or blind trust. It means recognizing that God often works through human leadership.
God raises nations.God humbles nations.God keeps covenant. And Christ will return.
This is not about fear.It is about perspective.
Stay grounded. Stay discerning. And remember who writes the final chapter.
