5 dogs out of my 15 are pitbull mixes. All are sweet, loving, and loyal. All dogs deserve to be loved. ❤️🐾🐕

Gotta pat myself on the back for prep work before the snow. Pulling up those tarps was the winter version of my Little House on the Prairie workout but sure is nice to not be slipping and sliding getting everyone out!

Val was a very good girl this year and bee-lieves in happy endings for all! Last of the pupdates for 2025...may 2026 bring you all plenty of barks, tail wags, slobbery kisses and love. Thank you for continuing to support my crew...hugs to you all. 🐕💞🐾

Ted and Paisley were adopted years apart from Dirt Road Rescues. They are happy to be living together as siblings with a phenomenal family.

This is Iris who is now 7, but not much slows her down. She loves her daily walks. She’s so smart too. She can walk across the floor on her two back paws, sit pretty, roll over and so much more. We love our little Iris 💐!

Molly just celebrated her 3rd year in her new home. Her mommy loves her dearly and I am thrilled they found each other. #

Cloud and Cotton> Litter sisters living next door to each other in CT, since 2022. They are amazing- they love daily walks together and greeting the neighborhood walkers, too. They loved the many obedience classes over the years. Still learning to coexist with squirrels/chipmunks/ rabbits/Woodchucks living under shed/fox/ birds/occassion family of deer at dusk when travelling from one house to another after watching UCONN Basketball games- lol. They helped with the 4 baby skunks that had no mama and pointed them out to us & we successfully got all to rehab and "the 4 stinkers" grew uneventfully at "wildlife in crisis" & were released into 1000 acre preserve near there.

Hamilton and Shiloh are both Dirt Road Rescues alumni. They are both big goofballs and are blessed with the best mom!

Paulie and Tippy are both Dirt Road Rescues alumni. Tippy is a sweetheart and Paulie has a devilish side to him but their mom still loves them both!

Buzz and Bo enjoy their hikes no matter what the weather is! Still the most stunning blue eyes I've ever seen.

As you can see from these photos, Kip loves his big sister Rue (both DRR alumni). Not so sure the feeling is mutual by the look on Rue's face!
