The Marvelous Miss Maple needs a new sponsor! Maple has had a wonderful sponsor who has to step down due to health issues so I am hoping to find her a new sponsor family. Maple has been with me a long time. She is picky about her people and other dogs but loves me and Kenneth. She has glaucoma and requires daily eye drops as well as allergy medication depending on the time of year. She loves car rides, butt scratches, carrots and "talking" loudly! Since she requires monthly medication, I would love to have another $100/month sponsor family for her or 2 $50/month sponsors. With rising costs, I am struggling to make ends meet at the rescue. 10 years ago today, I put the first adopted dog from Dirt Road Rescues (Rudy) on transport to his forever home. I never dreamed that I would be able to help so many others in their journey to join a loving family. I look back at pictures of all the mommies and puppies and truly wonder how I managed it all. My days are a little different now. However, every day still starts with letting dogs out and in, cleaning kennels and lots of wagging tails. Give a big hug to all my babies out there and thank you for all the support since 2016!

5 dogs out of my 15 are pitbull mixes. All are sweet, loving, and loyal. All dogs deserve to be loved. ❤️🐾🐕

Gotta pat myself on the back for prep work before the snow. Pulling up those tarps was the winter version of my Little House on the Prairie workout but sure is nice to not be slipping and sliding getting everyone out!

Ted and Paisley were adopted years apart from Dirt Road Rescues. They are happy to be living together as siblings with a phenomenal family.

This is Iris who is now 7, but not much slows her down. She loves her daily walks. She’s so smart too. She can walk across the floor on her two back paws, sit pretty, roll over and so much more. We love our little Iris 💐!
