Today we took Mama and Paddy to visit some sweet special needs kids. Sometimes they can't control how gentle they pet, one came up and clapped loudly right between the horses. Another came up behind Paddy as if to get on him- Paddy barely moved. This is what we train for and continue to train...for the unexpected. Whether it's a kiddo who pets a bit roughly or a person with Parkinson's, the horses trust us to protect them in different situations.

Two visits with two horses yesterday. The first was to an adult day care that we have visit for about 12 years. Paddy and Mr. R connected so well. Mr. R doesn't always want to pet the horses but this time he was scratching so nicely on Paddy's forehead.
Then when we were leaving Ms J came racing in with her walker with the biggest smile right over to Paddy. She loves the horse so much- her face just lights up in seeing whicever one comes that day.

The second visit was to a Rehab/nursing home where we went room to room. So many sweet smiles!
