When a rescue has to once again say NO to people needing help and NO to taking in any dogs or horses, THAT IS A PROBLEM!!! People are quick to ask for free stuff but not a dern peep when rescues are in need of help. That is SHAMEFULLY pathetic.

When (IF) we do a Pet Pantry or vaccine clinic this fall, ANYONE who applies WILL NEED:
Proof of income(including Social Security benefits, TANAF, military pension, etc)
Lease
Utility bills
Proof of SNAP

In order to get ANY SORT OF HELP. Rescues and shelters are NOT meant to be the ONLY source of care for YOUR pets. If you are constantly asking for handouts, with the EXCEPTION of seniors and physicallydisabled(not just lazy)people,(YES,shelters and rescues do compare lists of people who request help), you do NOT deserve your pet. You NEED to get a damn job.
