At Pearl of Grace Girls Ranch, we are looking for individuals willing to answer that call.

Our mentors commit two years to living and serving full-time alongside young women who have experienced abuse, exploitation, abandonment, and unimaginable heartache.

But mentorship is so much more than a commitment.

It’s being there when a young woman finally feels safe enough to share her story.

It’s celebrating the little victories that once seemed impossible.

It’s showing up on the difficult days, loving through the setbacks, and reminding her, again and again, that she is worthy of love.

It’s being a living example of the steadfast, unconditional love of Jesus Christ.

And one day, you may have the incredible privilege of watching a young woman who once struggled to imagine a future begin to dream about one.

Watching fear give way to trust.

Watching shame give way to the understanding that her identity is found in Christ.

Watching hope take root where hopelessness once lived.

Imagine getting to be part of that story.

We won’t tell you it’s easy. Loving deeply rarely is.

But we believe the most meaningful things God calls us to often require something of us.

And the beautiful thing about serving the Lord is that while He’s using you to make a difference in someone else’s life, He’s often transforming yours, too.

We provide specialized training, a supportive team, and the opportunity to be part of a ministry with an eternal purpose.

Two years. Countless ordinary moments. The possibility of an extraordinary impact.

Some are called to give.
Some are called to go.
Maybe you’re called to stay.

To show up. To love faithfully. To be part of a young woman’s journey toward healing and hope.

Some wounds are invisible.

For young women who have experienced abuse, exploitation, abandonment, or profound loss, the effects of trauma can reach into nearly every aspect of life. It can change the way they view themselves, the way they experience relationships, and even their ability to recognize love and safety.

Sometimes, what appears to be defiance is fear. What looks like anger is deeply rooted pain. And what seems like rejection is a heart that has learned to protect itself from being hurt again.

But no life is beyond the reach of God’s redeeming love.

At Pearl of Grace Girls Ranch, our mission is rooted in the belief that every young woman is created in the image of God, possesses immeasurable worth, and deserves to experience the love, dignity, and hope found in Jesus Christ.

We recognize that healing from trauma is rarely simple or quick. It requires patience, consistency, professional care, and relationships built on trust. Through trauma-informed support, therapeutic services, and intentional discipleship, we strive to create an environment where young women can begin to heal emotionally, mentally, and spiritually.

We believe that faith and mental health care can walk alongside one another. Seeking help is not a failure of faith, and emotional suffering is not evidence of spiritual weakness.

Throughout Scripture, we see a Savior who draws near to the hurting. Jesus did not turn away from those who were burdened, rejected, or broken. He met them with compassion, restored their dignity, and offered hope.

That same compassion guides our work today.

On this World Mental Health Day, we are reminded that the young women entrusted to our care are not defined by what has happened to them. Their identities are not found in their trauma, their struggles, or the circumstances that brought them to our doors.

Their worth was established by their Creator long before the world ever wounded them.

Our prayer is that every young woman who comes to Pearl of Grace will come to understand that she is seen, known, and deeply loved by God—and that her past does not have to determine her future.

Healing takes time. Restoration takes patience. And through it all, we remain steadfast in pointing young women toward the One who offers lasting hope.

Because at Pearl of Grace, we believe every young woman deserves more than a safe place to stay. She deserves the opportunity to heal, to grow, and to discover who she was created to be in Christ.

Come out for smoked brisket, take a tour of the ranch, and bid on 50+ items in the live auction. Free admission, and everyone's welcome. Bring a friend.

The Fall Auction isn't just an event on our calendar. It's a community of people coming together to make room for a girl to heal.
Our girls stay 18–24 months — long enough for trust to rebuild, for families to change, for Jesus to do what only He can do. That kind of time costs something.
Every item donated, every bid placed, every seat filled helps a girl stay long enough to heal.

The photo doesn't do them justice. The deep plum banding, the rings cut into the platter, the way the grain runs — you have to hold one to understand it.

Look what's already coming in.

A string trimmer and a toolbox from Beck's Equipment out in Guthrie. A horse lover's basket packed with books and artwork. A snack basket. A baby gift. And more showing up every few days.

Every one of these came from somebody who heard about a teen girl in crisis and decided to do something with their hands about it. We don't take that lightly. Thank you.

We're still building, though. The Fall Benefit Auction is Saturday, September 19, on the ranch in Tryon, and there's plenty of room on the table yet.

We're glad to have it on the ranch again this year. It means you get to stand on the ground where this work actually happens.

The day includes a live auction, a silent auction, a meal served on site, and tours so you can see the home, the arena, and the school for yourself.

Pearl of Grace Ranch is a Christ-centered home for teen girls in deep crisis and for the families who love them. Girls live here for 18 to 24 months with mentors who commit to two years. There is counseling, inner healing, equine-assisted learning, and a school built for the way trauma actually works. Parents don't drop off a problem — they walk their own road alongside their daughter. This auction is how a great deal of that gets funded.

Three ways to be part of it:

Come. Bring your spouse, your friends, your small group, somebody who's never heard of us. A full room is a win before a single item sells.

Some of our staff spent the last two days at the Global Leadership Summit, streamed live at a host site right here in our community. 🙌
Two days of world-class speakers, practical tools, and a whole lot of encouragement — for leading well at work, at home, and in ministry.
We're so thankful for the opportunity to be there. We believe the girls and families we serve deserve leaders who keep growing, and we're grateful for a team that says yes to that. 💛

A huge thank you to our cook Mary Ann for all the time and effort she poured into this, and to her sweet mom, who flew in early to help with final prep. Thank you to our three servers, who spent hours plating food, serving tea, and helping with cleanup afterward.

Thanks again to Rebecca Nuegen for the beautiful photos. And an honorable mention to Thrive Flowers, who donated all the flowers this year for the Charis crew to make bouquets for their moms — thank you!
