Why do we need Pride Month? Why is it even called "Pride"? To answer that, we first need to understand shame and the effects it has on our mental health and wellbeing, and what we can do to cope. Read more on our blog today at https://ourheartsofhope.org/news.

Celebrate 25 Years of Hope with this beautifully crafted commemorative ornament, designed exclusively for Hearts of Hope by its very first volunteer artist, Kathie Grassi. On sale now in our store at www.ourheartsofhope.org/shop.

A portrait artist from Upstate New York, Kathie has devoted her life to artistic expression across many media — while also using her talents to uplift and support others. Her connection to Hearts of Hope began at the organization’s very first “Paint with a Purpose” event following the tragedy of the September 11 attacks, where she generously volunteered her time, art, and heart. Since then, her unwavering dedication has helped inspire hope and healing for countless individuals.

Created to honor Hearts of Hope’s 25th Anniversary in 2026, this special keepsake features:

A reproduction of Kathie Grassi’s original artwork created exclusively for Hearts of Hope
A gold-plated and porcelain heart charm accent
A satin ribbon for elegant hanging and display
A gift box, ready for giving

Perfect for holidays, birthdays, memorials, thank-you gifts, or simply as a meaningful keepsake for yourself, this ornament is a heartfelt reminder that hope, compassion, and kindness can leave a lasting impact.

May is Mental Health Awareness Month — a time to remind one another that no one should suffer in silence. 💚

At Hearts of Hope Foundation, Inc., we recognize the importance of showing up for each other with compassion, grace, and understanding. So many people are carrying invisible burdens, navigating grief, trauma, anxiety, depression, and emotional pain behind closed doors.

Today, and every day, we encourage openness over judgment, love over silence, and support over stigma.

For those who are grieving, struggling, or simply trying to make it through one day at a time — please know you are seen, you are valued, and you are never alone.

Let us continue creating spaces where people feel safe to speak, safe to heal, and safe to be embraced exactly as they are. Healing begins when we choose empathy, acceptance, and human connection.

Together, we can break the stigma surrounding mental health and remind others that hope still exists. 💚

We've taken this to grow and learn as a team. All month long we've seen countless posts, read articles, and spoke to friends about their experiences with autism, either for themselves or as loved ones of someone with autism. It inspired us to release our latest blog post, touching on a bit of the journey that often isn't talked about, but is just as important!

Read it on our website, link in bio 💙💛
