One week from today we will meet again!

Thursday March 12 7-9pm

This month will be a special time to reflect and connect about the biological mothers that brought the children into our lives. Together we will find ways to hold space for them and help our children navigate their emotions and relationships in connection with their birth mothers.

Can you believe this Thursday is our first meeting of the New Year?!? We can’t either!

As we move into a new year, it’s important to reflect back on how foster care affects us and the children we welcome into our homes.

Grief comes in many forms and has many challenges. Together we will explore how we can work to support each other and find ways to not ignore our grief but make it a part of our lives that we can process.

🌿 Foster & Adoptive Moms Support Group – Next Thursday! 🌿

Hey moms! 💕 Don’t forget to join us for our monthly support group meeting next Thursday!

This month’s topic is “Cultivating Confidence – in Ourselves and in Our Children.”

We’ll be talking about how to build confidence in our parenting journey and how to help the amazing children in our care grow in theirs. 💪✨

Can you believe it is almost the second Thursday of the month?! We are thrilled to have the chance to get together again so soon!

This Thursday from 7-9pm we will be meeting to discuss one of the hard truths in foster care; blocked care! When our brains become emotionally guarded after prolonged stress or rejection from a child it is hard to feel empathy and connection.

We must work to overcome that for ourselves and our children. We will discuss self-care, support and how to rebuild those connections.

Helping kids understand their own life story—where they’ve been, what they’ve experienced, and how deeply they are loved—is a vital part of their healing and identity. It can feel overwhelming at times, but you’re not alone in it. We’ll share strategies, encouragement, and support as we navigate these conversations together.

All foster moms are welcome! Just let us know if you’re coming so we have plenty of snacks and drinks ready. 🥤🍪 We’d love to see you there!
