Hello All, for those who have not heard, UNICO’s annual Taste of the Town event is scheduled for May 12th. Tickets are now on sale so if you want to guarantee a seat at the table, act now as the event will sell out!

This year we are moving the venue to The Cosmopolitan on Rt. 23 in Wayne. It will be a much more elegant setting that we all can be proud of.

The space will allow us to accommodate approximately 350 guests and 30 vendors. Tickets are $50 per adult and $25 per child under 13 years old. You can reserve a table if you have 10 guests. Cash bar is available.

As we begin preparations for the 10-year anniversary of our “Taste of the Town” fundraiser, “abbiamo il cibo in mente” (we have food on our minds).

So —> Authentic Parmigiano Reggiano contains roughly 35 to 38 grams of complete protein per 100 grams, which is more protein by weight than most commercial protein bars. 🇮🇹🧀

Unlike many processed bars, it contains no added sugar and no seed oils. It is made from just milk, salt, and rennet, then aged to naturally concentrate its nutrients.

Friends have been asking about ticket prices for this year’s Taste of the Town event now that we’ve upgraded the location to The Cosmopolitan. Well…

While we won’t spill the beans quite yet, we can say that it will be a great bargain for the opportunity to taste delicious food from over 25 restaurants in a luxury venue! We are intentionally setting the ticket price at a level that will be affordable for all our loyal supporters, even though our costs have increased.

With appreciation for the ongoing generosity we’ve seen from you and all our supporters everytime we do fundraising, we will provide OPTIONAL “additional donation and sponsorship” opportunities for those who wish to help us defray costs and continue to do even more of the good work we do for our local community.

Pequannock UNICO is a nonprofit service organization of Italian Americans who love to care for our neighbors and those needing assistance. All the money we net from our fundraisers goes to local food pantries, families in crisis, academic and trade school scholarships, individuals with health challenges and those simply needinging a hand up, not a handout. Our motto is “Service Above Self.”

Hello Pequannock! Today is hoedown day at Greenview Park. Come see us and check out our sausage and pepper sandwiches on fresh Italian bread, our cheesesteak sandwich, our NEW double cheesesteak sandwich, ribbon fries, and our zepoles and funnel cakes. Please know that all money we raise today goes back into the local community so your purchase makes a difference. Hope to see you today!
