I will be doing a few demonstrations here as well as raising money for special needs. I’m still looking for a few volunteers to attack me in one of the demonstration.

Programs like DESE have little funding for the necessary education of people with autism and developmental disabilities. The Thomas and Agnes Reid Foundation is dedicated to resolving this problem. Through fundraisers and donations, we can provide more funding for the education of those with special needs.

I know the challenges of raising and providing the proper education for children with disabilities and special needs; because my son has autism. But seeing him make progress through additional education gives me hope for his future. This is why I started the Thomas and Agnes Reid Foundation; to provide all people like my son the necessary funding for outside education and skills training. He is learning life skills, martial arts, and music, and is becoming more self reliant thanks to programs like DESE. Imagine what he and others with special needs accomplish with more education.

Going to make a few things out of these cans later today with my son. Being able to use tools is an essential life skill and carries over into many areas of life. I’ll post what we made later tonight.
