We are so impressed by the vocal talent of our students at Brady Middle School! They really did an outstanding job at the recent OMEA Junior High Solo Ensemble competition. 👏

The BMS Choirs did an outstanding job at the Ohio Music Education Association District 7 Junior High Solo and Ensemble event last weekend! Soloists Georgie Gentsch and Adriona Foster earned excellent ratings on their performances, with Superior ratings going to soloists Esmee Baker, Kimber Caldwell, Syrenity Gamble, Kori Jezek, Violet Thorman, and Ava Wilson. And congratulations to both the 7th and 8th grade ensembles on receiving Superior ratings on their group performances! The groups are directed by Dr. Dalton Phillips. We are proud of all of our talented student vocalists!

It's another Orange Schools performing arts success story. Congratulations, Vanessa Bayer (OHS class of 2000), on her new role on the Scrubs revival airing on ABC (streaming on Hulu). In 2017, Vanessa was a Primetime Emmy Award nominee for her roles on SNL.

Hey "Scrubs" fans...now you have one more reason to love the show -- our very own alumna Vanessa Bayer (OHS ‘00) has joined the cast! Vanessa plays "Sibby Wilson", HR Manager and head of the 'Wellness Center'. You will see her familiar, engaging smile as she infuses heart back into Sacred Heart Hospital in this reboot of the beloved show that originally wrapped in 2010. The show airs on ABC at 8pm Wednesdays and streams on Hulu & Disney+ on Thursday. The show features many of the original cast members, including Zach Braff and Donald Faison.

Vanessa Bayer is well-known for her delightful roles in "Trainwreck", "Office Christmas Party", and "Saturday Night Live", and recently returned to her Alma Mater as our Centennial Celebration Guest Speaker in 2024. She and her brother, Jonah, also host a podcast, "How Did We Get Weird" on the All Things Comedy Network. Go Vanessa! We are proud you are Orange!!! (And yes, we are still looking for the 1989 video time capsule...! Class of '89, help us out!!!). 🧡

A big congratulations to our Orange High School String Orchestra, led by Rebecca Ann Ellsworth, for their amazing performance at toda’s OMEA - Ohio State Orchestra Contest. They earned a Superior Rating in Class B with all 1s. With an ensemble of 55 students, we once again showed how Orange City School District continues to have an impressive performing arts program.

Six Orange High School choir students - Shy'la Barclay, Ava Garcia, Paige Janke, Adeline Moran, Siddharth Sah, and Orinnma Williams - participated in the Ohio Music Educators Association (OMEA) district honor choir at Cleveland State University. They joined 200 students from 31 schools. Patronaires was pleased to provide the participation fee for this fabulous opportunity. 🎼🎤

Senior Taryn Michener recently participated in the Northeast Ohio Regional Orchestra, which performed at Baldwin Wallace University. She was also selected as an alternate for the OMEA All-State Orchestra.😄Patronaires was pleased to provide the participation fee for this fabulous opportunity.
