Today marks the end of a remarkable era for the Pepin community as Chief Jesse Van Alstine signed off for the final time after decades of dedicated service to the Village of Pepin.
On behalf of the Pepin County Sheriff’s Office, we want to extend our deepest gratitude to Chief Van Alstine for his unwavering commitment to public safety, his professionalism, and the countless ways he has served not only the citizens of Pepin, but our entire county.
Throughout the years, Chief Van Alstine has been a trusted partner, a respected leader, and a true friend to so many in law enforcement. Whether working side by side during emergencies, community events, or the day-to-day challenges that come with serving the public, Jesse has always led with integrity, humility, and an enormous desire to help others.
Law enforcement is built on partnerships, and we have been fortunate to have Chief Van Alstine standing alongside us for so many years. His experience, leadership, and dedication will leave a lasting impact that will be felt long after today’s final radio transmission.
Chief Van Alstine, thank you for your decades of service, your friendship, and everything you’ve done for the people of Pepin County. We wish you and your family a long, healthy, and well-deserved retirement filled with happiness, new adventures, and time to enjoy the rewards of a career well served.
