40 years is a long time.

Weather, a pandemic, food poisoning, broken limbs; none of it stopped the show. Cancer wonā€™t stop the show, but it will cause our President to step back and let the kids take over.

Todd Sandberg created the show 40 years ago. Yes, 2026 was actually 40 years; the first one was in 1986 when he was 21 years old. He just just didnā€™t count it because he had no idea it would last, but it did. For 40 years, he was involved, sometimes in the front, other times in the back, but always giving up his summers for the show. Nothing stopped him, and nothing will stop him now, but itā€™s time to let the younger members of the Peotone Car Club take it from here while he focuses on kicking cancerā€™s ass and enjoying his summers with his family. Cheers to 40 years and to kicking cancerā€™s ass.šŸ„‚

Facebook went live in 2004. We didnā€™t get on the bandwagon till 2018. We just didnā€™t realize how much pictures tell a story. But we get it now. Below is one of our first pictures on Facebook.

Cars connect people, and pictures of cars on social connect even more people. So share your favorite and maybe, even your oldest picture of the Peotone Car Show below. Maybe, just maybe, weā€™ll connect in ways we never knew possible.
