I’d be honored if you would consider giving to our medical conference effort in Northern Iraq! No contribution is insignificant! You will make a difference!

As many of you are aware, I have been volunteering with The Restoration Act (an international NGO) as Health Programs Coordinator since April 2023 (Lynette since 2022). I spent most of May 2023 in Kurdistan, and will be returning in December through January 2024 to execute on this medical conference and initiative. The planned “Impacting Inborn Errors of Metabolism” medical conference in Northern Iraq will be the culmination of 9-months of intense effort to bring US and European medical specialists to Northern Iraq to teach the Kurdistan medical community about PKU and other genetic inborn errors of metabolism. It promises to initiate catalytic change within their medical community, and to restore lives by alleviating so much avoidable suffering in this population that has been ravaged by decades of war.
