The Peoria Area Chamber of Commerce is deeply saddened by the loss of Laura Cullinan. Laura dedicated so much of her time and energy to Greater Peoria, and we’re grateful for her leadership of many initiatives to strengthen our region. Her work and the relationships she built will have a lasting impact.

Our thoughts are with Laura’s children, family, friends, and all those who loved her. We extend our sincere condolences as they navigate this heartbreaking loss.

Come celebrate its ribbon cutting and dedication tomorrow, Thursday, October 8, at 12:30 p.m. at CxT Roasting Co., 1200 W. Main St., Store #23, Peoria. Everyone is welcome, and no RSVP is needed.

Peoria County’s new transfer station has been serving residents since June. Tomorrow, the community can get a closer look at the facility and meet the team behind it at a ribbon cutting and open house with GFL Environmental and the Peoria Area Chamber of Commerce.

CampusTown is getting a new outdoor gathering space. Join Big Picture Peoria, CxT Roasting Company, CampusTown, Bradley University, Greater Peoria Leaders, and the Peoria Area Chamber of Commerce this Thursday, October 8, at 12:30 p.m. as we dedicate the CxT parklet at 1200 W. Main St., Store #23, Peoria.

The colorful, welcoming space creates another place for the community to gather. The event is open to the public, and no RSVP is needed.
