✨ MAKEHERSPACE: WOMEN IN FASHION ✨
This Saturday, September 12 from 2–4 PM, MakeHerSpace, a Distillery Labs program providing mentorship and meaningful connections to young women in our community, is bringing fashion, mentorship, and entrepreneurship together for a special afternoon!
In collaboration with Peoria Fashion Week Academy, MakeHerSpace will host a female-led Fashion Designer Panel featuring talented designers who have worked alongside the Academy and Peoria Fashion Week.
These women will sit down with more than 60 young women eager to learn about the fashion industry and have an open conversation about their journeys — from discovering their creativity and developing their craft to navigating challenges, building their brands, finding opportunities, and making their mark as women in fashion.

Following the conversation, several of our featured designers will showcase specialty pieces available for purchase, giving our community an opportunity to meet the women behind the brands, experience their work up close, and directly support local and independent designers.

When young women can sit across from women who are designing, creating, building businesses, and pursuing careers they may one day want for themselves, mentorship becomes more than advice — they can actually SEE what is possible.
