Amazing to see while we were on our Heroes Rising Outdoors fishing trip

Trout on the line, bighorn sheep at the river, and gorgeous night skies overhead.

Our Heroes Rising Outdoors fly fishing reunion at Big Lake and the East Fork of the Black River offered more than great fishing. Sightings of bighorn sheep and elk, star-filled White Mountain skies, and campfire conversations made this a weekend to remember.

For wounded Arizona veterans, these trips create space to unwind, connect with fellow veterans, and build friendships through shared outdoor experiences.

Help make more moments like these possible. Support HRO at ArizonaElkSociety.org.

Early Archery Success! 🏹

Congratulations to Tanner K., Ray K. and Jeff H. on successful hunts with our Heroes Rising Outdoors program!

These hunts are about so much more than the harvest. They’re about time outdoors, camaraderie, connection and creating meaningful experiences for Arizona veterans.

A huge THANK YOU to our volunteer guides who give their time to make these hunts possible—and to everyone who supports Heroes Rising Outdoors through donations and AES membership. We couldn’t do it without you.
