Such an absolutely beautiful morning! ☀️ We took a lovely stroll through the market, enjoyed an amazing lunch, and got to soak up all that wonderful fresh air.

The best part? Getting to feed and pet the sweetest goats and sheep, the goats were more than happy to pause on their goat bridge for some ear scratches! 🐐🌾 We even saw the biggest rooster I have ever laid eyes on! 🐓✨

Thanks so much to Tanners Orchard for such an amazing experience! We’ll definitely be back. ❤️🍎

🌟 WHAT AN INCREDIBLE SATURDAY! 🌟

We couldn’t have asked for a better day for our first annual Strides for Sight 1.5K Walk! ☀️

The weather was absolutely perfect, but what truly made the day special was YOU. The turn-out and support were beyond anything we could have imagined. A huge thank you to everyone who walked with us, donated, and visited us at the Riverfront! A special shout-out to Twisted Pasta for the delicious food and Sweets and Sourdough for the incredible baked goods, they were a huge hit and helped raise vital support for our organization.

A big thank you for the support and Congratulations to Mark Bean on winning the 10 week Farrells Challenge!! We’ll see you on the mat! 🥊💪 and Congratulations to Christian Windell on winning the $50 Running Central/RC Outfitters gift card.

Thank you to our amazing community, volunteers, and supporters for showing up for us. We are so grateful for each and every one of you! 🧡 Walk on, and see you next year! 👩‍🦯👨‍🦯

Today is National White Cane Safety Day! 🤍❤️

Did you know Peoria played a huge role in white cane history? Back in 1930, local resident Elmer Thomason and Lions Club President George Bonham came up with the white cane with a red tip to help visually impaired people navigate streets safely. Right after, Peoria passed the very first white cane ordinance in the country, giving pedestrians with a white cane the right-of-way when crossing the street! That simple idea started right here in Peoria and is now a law used all around the world. The white cane gives people independence and reminds drivers to slow down, yield, and stay alert. To mark the day, check out the Murray Baker Bridge tonight, it’s lit up in red and white! 🌉✨

Check out our fundraiser this Saturday in honor of National White Cane Safety Day! Strides for Sight, down at the Peoria Riverfront behind the Gateway building. Registration at 8:30, walk starts at 9am. Twisted Pasta and treats from Sweets and Sourdough you won't want to miss this chance to move with purpose!

🎉 What a fantastic Bingo day at CICBVI last week. So many victorious shouts of "BINGO!" filled the room, but a big shoutout goes to ZL, who cleared his whole board for the GRAND PRIZE! 🏆 He’s heading out for a free lunch of his choice, well deserved! 🥪🍕

🎁 We’ve refreshed our prize stash with fun new prizes, and we can’t wait for the next round!

🎲 Game Day + Dirty Sodas = The Best Morning! 🥤✨

What a fun morning at the Center! We had a surprisingly heated game of Monopoly going, made even better by a visit from Katie Pop !
Our patrons loved trying all the new dirty soda flavors and treats. Huge thanks to Addy for her incredible patience and awesome drinks, you made this our best game morning yet! ❤️
