It was a wonderful day at the Weaver Ridge Golf Course on June 8, 2026, as the Tri-County Urban League 1st Annual Juneteenth Golf Classic kicked off Juneteenth week in Peoria. Congratulations to our winners: 1st Place - CityLink, 2nd Place - Spellman Strategies, Longest Putt - R. Alvey. Closest to the Pin - Scott Sorrel, Longest Drive - Scott Sorrel. We appreciate The YANI Collective and the help of the Miss Teen and Little Miss Juneteenth winners who volunteered at the outing. We also want to thank the Tri-County Urban League Guild members for helping manage the outing. And a special thanks to Ms. Mattie for working with our golf committee to make sure all tasks were handled properly. Wishing the best to our community for a successful continuation of Juneteenth Week.
