Tonight's meeting will be at the PPD at 1800hrs. It is so nice outside we will likely be doing traffic stops or something else outside. Please where jeans or pants with belt loops in case we use our duty belts.

The Explorers have been invited to help out with the “We love the Southside event” this Saturday. The event runs from 1-5 and setup begins at 11. If any explorers can help out, let Lt Esser know.

MARK YOUR CALENDARS: The 3rd annual We Love the Southside Community event is coming up. The fun will happen on Saturday, August 17th from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. at 919 S. Matthew Street.
So come on out, and have fun with members of the Peoria Police Department.

I hope everyone enjoyed the last two weeks off and had a great Fourth of July...but, its time to get back at it. We will be meeting tonight at the station for a classroom training of building searches and hopefully role playing with out new equipment starting next week. See you at 1800hrs.

The explorers will be meeting again tonight at 6pm. We have a little more organizing of our equipment and then we can start using it. See you at 6 pm

We have a lot more boxes of training equipment to go through tonight for our explorers. We will be organizing and unboxing this equipment for the meeting tonight. See you at 6.

We will be meeting tonight at the station. The Explorers have been able to purchase a lot of training equipment through a grant and we will be using the majority of this meeting to sort and organize this equipment. Probably next week too.

A thanks goes out to the Explorers that helped out today! We were able to pack two Police Squads full of food to be donated to local food banks.

The Explorers will be helping out tomorrow with a "Pack a Cruiser" event at Kroger's at 9219 N. Lindbergh Dr from 1000hrs to 1400hrs.

Come out and help support local food banks with food they need the most by packing a police cruiser with food.

Explorers helping out with the event, please be at the station in Uniform at 0930hrs.
