Murray is blue and green tonight on National Awareness Day.

We know in October, pink is the color of general breast cancer awareness; for MBC, blue stands for healing and spirituality, and green stands for hope.

Tonight, thanks to METAvivor Research and Support Inc., over 325 landmarks worldwide will light up in these colors to honor those living with Stage 4 and remember those we have lost.

Starting tonight through October 8th, Murray will be shining green in honor of 🍀

Since 1890, 4-H has been America’s largest youth development organization, empowering nearly six million young people with the skills to go beyond the expected. Programs are delivered by Cooperative Extension, comprised of more than 100 public universities across the nation.

Tomorrow, Murray will be teal for the upcoming 3rd annual Teal Butterfly Blessings Ovarian Cancer Awareness Walk benefiting OSF HealthCare Cancer Institute.

On Sept. 22nd the group will be meeting on the East Peoria bank near Bass Pro to view the lighting at 6:30/6:45.

The walk is Saturday, September 26th held at the OSF Cancer Institute. Doors open at 8:30 am, opening remarks at 9:30 am, and the walk is at 10:00 am.
