We’re joyously marching into the Juneteenth holiday by participating in our very first 3rd Annual Ernestine Jackson Freedom Day Parade! Parents and children walked together in solidarity to celebrate education, community, and freedom.

Join us a parent support group meeting on Tuesday, Mar 3, at 6 PM, where we'll learn about the 7 C's of Parenting!

Parenting can be both rewarding and challenging-- and none of us is meant to do it alone. This support group is a safe, welcoming space where parents can connect, reflect, and gain practical tools to help their children thrive.

During our session, we'll explore the 7 C's of parenting:
Competence, Confidence, Character, Connection, Contribution, Coping, and Control

Together, we will discuss real-life strategies, share experiences, and strengthen our skills as parents and leaders in our children's lives.

We want to give a big THANK YOU to the Neighborhood House for allowing us to utilize their facility to host our first financial class! We also want to give a huge shout out to Kyla Davis, a financial coach with KR Stability who presented for the group.

Because of your partnership and community support, families had a welcoming space to learn practical tools for budgeting, saving, and building stronger financial futures.

The meeting was hybrid, so you could join in person or online. Parents left with tips and feeling more confident about saving money!
