Echelon is a community of diverse young adults collectively rising up to serve The Salvation Army through community service and volunteering, fellowship and networking, and donations and fundraising. Echelon Peoria, founded in 2014, is the fourth Echelon chapter and is branded the National Young Adult Auxiliary of The Salvation Army. Echelon Peoria supports The Salvation Army Heartland Division an

d its efforts to provide shelter, food, clothing, counseling and countless other services to thousands of men, women and children in need. Our membership is motivated by The Salvation Army's mission to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ and to meet human needs in His name without discrimination.

❇️$25 helps a family recover after a disaster
❇️$50 gives a bag of food to a family for 3–5 days
❇️$75 provides a night’s lodging and case management for a homeless family
❇️$350 sponsors a child for Summer Day Camp
❇️$3,000 sponsors a child in Pathway of Hope, breaking the cycle of poverty

After Red Hot Christmas, please consider volunteering with Echelon! There are still plenty of volunteer opportunities for this year, as Christmas is our busiest season, but the need is year round.

Ensuring that those most in need have access to food is one of the pillars of the services that The Salvation Army provides. Did you know that The Army facilitates a daily dinner program that is 100% run by volunteers and community partners?
Echelon's partnership with Firehouse Pizza provides meals to those in need 2-3 times per month. That's over 420 pizzas served!
