Get ready for a sweet treat, Mustangs! 🐴💙 Kona Ice is rolling onto campus for two days of icy fun!

🍧 Thursday, October 8: Grades K–4
🍧 Friday, October 9: Grades 5–8

💵 Prices range from $5–$8

�🍂 Thanksgiving Lunch at West Wing! 🍁🥧
West Wing families are invited to join their students for a special Thanksgiving Lunch on Thursday, November 19! 🧡
🍽️ Adult Meals: $5.00
🍽️ Student Meals: $3.10
Important: All adults must purchase their meals in advance through the school’s online payment system. This is a cashless event, and no late purchases will be accepted. Be sure to screenshot your receipt to show at the cafeteria door!
📅 Adult meal purchases must be completed by October 27!

🐴💙 WHO’S WHO? WEDNESDAY! 💙🐴

This week we’re getting to know Ms. Garcia, our 7th Grade Math teacher! ➗✏️

🖍️ Classroom supplies on repeat: Expo markers, patty paper & highlighters — they go FAST!

🥤 School-day fuel: Alani Cherry Slush or Strawberry Guava Celsius!

📺 Comfort show: Gilmore Girls the SECOND September hits 🍂… or Friends anytime!

✈️ Dream plane ticket: Italy 🇮🇹 or Japan 🇯🇵 — tough choice!

💐 The little things: Flowers and a simple “You’re doing a good job” always mean the most. 💕

🏰 Fun fact: Ms. Garcia LOVES Disney — Disneyland is definitely one of her happy places! ✨

💙 PTSA love: The nacho bar was a favorite, and having lunch provided — especially on Thursdays — is always appreciated!

We loved getting to know Ms. Garcia a little better! 🐴💙

🐴💙 MEET A MUSTANG MONDAY! 💙🐴

This week we’re getting to know Ms. Bauer, 3rd Grade! ✏️✨

🌙 Morning person or night owl? Definitely a night owl!

🎄 Fictional character swap: Buddy the Elf! Because who wouldn’t want to celebrate Christmas every day?! 🎅🏼

🧸 Childhood favorite: Cabbage Patch Kids — and she STILL has them today! ❤️

🌈 Celebrating her students: Ms. Bauer loves recognizing the little wins with high fives, hugs, and lots of words of encouragement. 🙌

🤍 West Wing families: She says our families are incredibly generous — whenever her classroom needs something, parents show up and provide above and beyond!

💙 Her favorite part of West Wing: Seeing her students out in the community! Whether it’s at the grocery store, church, shopping, or around the neighborhood, she feels blessed to be part of such a wonderful community.

We’re so lucky to have Ms. Bauer as part of our Mustang family! 🐴💙

⛳️💃 Daddy-Daughter Dance was a HUGE success! 💙

Between mini golf, dancing the night away, and striking a pose in the photo booth, we’d definitely call this night a HOLE IN ONE! 🏌️‍♀️✨

Thank you to all of our West Wing families who came out and made the night so special! We loved seeing our dads and daughters making memories together. 💙

🐴💙 MEET A MUSTANG MONDAY! 💙🐴

This week we’re getting to know Ms. Selena Rivera, our 4th Grade ELA teacher! 📚✨

🧒 4th grade Selena: Quiet and sensitive, but always loved helping others and being a friend to everyone. 💙

🥕 Childhood snack she still loves: Veggies and dip! Her mom always had an after-school snack waiting, and you can still find her eating hummus and veggies for lunch at least twice a week.

🎤 Karaoke pick: Unwritten by Natasha Bedingfield! 🎶

🏆 Surprisingly competitive about: Board games! Once she wins a round, she’s ready to quit while she’s ahead. 😂 Her family may have called her a sore loser once or twice!

😂 What secretly makes her laugh: When a student raises their hand with SO much enthusiasm that she’s expecting the greatest answer ever… only to hear a completely random story instead. 😂

💙 PTSA MAKES A DIFFERENCE: Ms. Rivera appreciates how service-minded and teacher-focused our PTSA is — from little things like chips & salsa days that brighten teachers’ weeks to bigger projects like shade structures and classroom organization supplies. Whatever our staff needs to better support students, PTSA works to make it happen!

And in Ms. Rivera’s words: “I just LOVE the WW PTSA!” 🐴💙
