Cuteness overload with our Pets of the Week🐾

Marker is a one-year-old Orange Tabby and the mom cat to all of these cute babies. We're so excited Marker has been adopted, but now we want her kittens to find their forever homes as well!

Crayon, Stapler, Colored Pencil, and Post It are all adorable 3 month old kittens. Crayon is the only female and is the Calico/Brown Tabby mix. Her three brothers are all super cute Buff Tabbies.

All of these babies are available for adoption at Peoria County Animal Protection Services. Adoption hours are 12-5pm Monday through Friday.

To enter your pup to be Bark Royalty submit:

- A picture of your adorable pup
- 500 words or less explaining why your pup deserves to be crowned this year's Bark King or Queen
- Name of your dog
- Name of your dog's human (that's you!)
- Best phone number to contact you

Submit these to [email protected] by Sept. 18th. Winners will be chosen and contacted by Sept 21st. Attendance at the event is strongly encouraged!

He is an 11-month-old Siberian Husky, who is full of puppy energy! He is available for adoption at Peoria County Animal Protection Services. Adoption hours are 12-5pm Monday through Saturday.

Meet Melvin! 🐷

After coming to PCAPS, Melvin needed a little extra care before finding his forever home. Thanks to PHS supporters, he received his neuter and tusk trimming. He was adopted this week and went to his forever home.

This cutie pie is about 4 months old and has been at the shelter since May 26th. He is a curious kitten and loves to play.

He is available for adoption at Peoria County Animal Protection Services. Adoption hours are 12-5pm Monday through Saturday.
