Hey everyone! Thank you to those who have followed us so far, and if you see this but aren't following, please feel free to come join our fam!
If you have followed this page, it's likely because you are familiar with farming in some way. If you aren't, that's okay. We hope you will earn a greater appreciation for our American farmers and what they do for our country.
When we said "please feel free to come join our fam," we genuinely meant family. If there is one thing anybody should know about our local farmers (in any rural farming community), it's that they know how to come together as a family when someone is in need. When a farmer calls, other farmers answer. Coincidentally, these farmers make up the small-medium sized farms in America, which is the fastest dying group of farms. Average farm acreage is increasing, but number of farms is decreasing.
What we at Thank A Farmer are committed to, is providing funds to local middle/high school Ag programs (such as FFA), as well as funding scholarships for our future Ag leaders. We support the dedication, adaptability, and intuitiveness in advancing farming practices for our small-medium sized farms - the true heart of America that we must keep beating.
Stay tuned for more updates as we work through our first year of fundraising for the year 2024! There are some exciting visions for the future of our nonprofit organization that we can't wait to share with you along the way as well.
