Who's ready for ConExpo week!? Here is a throwback to the 1948 Road Show, which was the fist one after a pause during WWII. It was held at Chicago's Soldier Field, and broke from tradition in being held during Summer instead of early Spring. The highlight of the Cat exhibit was the new DW20 and DW21 models, although all Cat scrapers, bulldozers and control units were relatively new, having been added to the Cat lineup since Cat started making their own attachments in 1945. Not to be outdone in their hometown, IH arguably had the best photo op of the show, with a 2X scale replica of the TD-24 in their display.
