Thank you to everyone who contributed to our toy drive for Christmas because of your amazing support the event was an absolute success and the kids were excited about getting their favorite toys.

On the flip side of that, please continue to keep my Co-President Alex Whalen in your thoughts and prayers as he’s dealing with health issues again. Your thoughts and prayers are greatly appreciated.

I’m still in awe of all the outpouring love and support that After Spina is continuing to receive from this past weekend’s toy drive. I don’t do anything for show. I do it because I see the struggle, I feel/or felt the pain before and simply have a heart for loving and caring for people in general. To be totally honest, in the beginning, I didn’t think we’d get too much support being that we’re a new foundation on the block but I told myself I’d be content with what we received because again we’re fairly new and I didn’t think people heard about it enough or were too familiar with us being a foundation BUT BOOOOY was I wrong, when Tasha Cobbs Leonard said, “God you can blow my mind!!!” I felt every word of that. I posted pics of some I had and others donated before the event but we want each and every one of you to know we appreciate you all for supporting us with your gifts and monetary blessings, big or small—we appreciate them all but more importantly, your presence, kind words and encouragement to keep on keeping on.
