Pollination!

🦋 Peoria Pollinator Watch 🐝

This week, we have a Monarch Butterfly leaving the flower of a New England Aster plant and a Catskill Potter Wasp on Tall Goldenrod. Both are pollinators that support ecosystems and the city’s green infrastructure.

In addition to adding beauty to our public spaces, native plants like New England Aster and Tall Goldenrod soak up rainwater and prevent it from entering our combined sewers! 🌧️ 🌱 🌻

💜 October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month.

This month, the St. Louis Area Violence Prevention Commission joins survivors, advocates, families, and community partners across our region in raising awareness, supporting healing, and standing together against domestic violence.

We’re proud to kick off by highlighting our community partner .diva_empowerment_found and their 6th Annual Domestic Violence Awareness Rally & Walk in The Grove!
