Dear Pentwater VFW Bingo Players, due to the pandemic and the cost of maintaining our bingo licensing, we have made the decision to not renew our bingo license for 2021. It was a difficult decision to make. From a health perspective, the vast majority of our players and bingo volunteers fall into the at-risk category for COVID.

When pandemic concerns subside, we will re-evaluate if and/or when to re-open. Friday night bingo has been a staple of the area and we will do everything within reason to re-open someday. Until a permanent decision is made, we thank you for your continued support.

Very sad news for the Pentwater VFW...Gaye was a permanent fixture at Post 6017, helping out with anything and everything. Our condolences to Mike and the entire Sorensen family.

Gaye Louise Macksam Sorensen, 78, of Crystal Valley, passed away August 8, 2020, having lived a life of ambition and purpose. Her unwavering focus on helping people, her deep faith in God, and her love of family is what we will remember her for most. She was born January 13,

In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, Pentwater VFW Bingo 2020 will not begin this Friday, March 20 and will remain closed a minimum of 3 weeks. We are committed to 'flattening the curve' of virus transmission and keeping our patrons safe! The earliest we will consider re-opening is Friday, April 10 but it is dependent on the state of the pandemic. We will re-evaluate after a couple weeks. Thank you for your understanding- we look forward to seeing you again as soon as it is safe to do so!

Our final night for 2019 is tonight and we re-open in March 2020.
