During a lunch rush at a Dairy Queen in Brainerd, Minnesota, one customer decided to do something small. They paid for their own order — and the car behind them. When the next driver reached the window and heard their meal had already been covered, they made the same choice. Then the next person did it. And the next. What started as one unexpected gesture kept moving forward through the drive-thru line. The chain continued for more than two and a half days. By the time it ended, more than 900 vehicles had participated and customers had collectively covered nearly $10,000 worth of meals for strangers. Employees said they had never seen anything continue that long. Some drivers even left extra money before closing time so the chain could continue when the restaurant opened again the next morning. The story spread because nobody planned it, organized it, or announced it. One person made a decision at a drive-thru window and hundreds of people kept it alive. What began as paying for one unknown customer eventually became days of strangers covering meals for people they would never meet.

Tonight we will be holding elections for the board members for the upcoming school year. It is important that everyone attend (physically or virtually) so this process can be carried out properly. We will be electing a new President, Vice Presidents (adult and student), and Treasurer. The meeting will be in the PFHS cafeteria tonight (4/28/26) at 6pm. There will be light refreshments as well.

Our next PTSA meeting will be tomorrow night, Tuesday, April 28th, 2026 at 6pm in the PFHS cafeteria. We will be holding elections for next year's PTSA board members. You can join the PTSA for only $5 and also have the opportunity to "run for office" as a member. The available positions will be: President, Vice President (Parent and Student), and Treasurer. We will also be adding a correspondence secretary.
