Our goal is $15,000. Will you help us put tortillas back on the table? 👉 Link in bio

When you give, please choose "Guatemalan Drought Relief" on the giving form.

A drought in Guatemala has cost many of the families we serve their crops this year. 🌽

Corn is at the heart of the Guatemalan table. It's what makes the tortillas families eat at nearly every meal. So this fall, on top of our Christmas giveaways, we're providing a supplement of corn for families in our rural communities and tortilla flour for families in our urban areas.

🍽️ This week is World Food Day, a day dedicated to raising awareness of hunger around the globe—something experienced by 260+ million people worldwide, according to the World Food Programme.

Meals are one of the biggest ways we are meeting needs in Guatemala every day. Thank you to our donors and our dedicated staff at our feeding centers for ensuring no child goes hungry, in Jesus’ name. Your work is saving lives. 🙏

Did you know over 50% of Guatemalan students drop out of school between 6th and 9th grades?* 😢

For the children we serve, an education is not a given. Many children are unable to attend school due to financial hardship, family needs, and language barriers.

Education isn’t just “nice to have.” It can mean the difference between remaining in poverty and breaking the cycle. That’s why every school supply donated, every meal served, and every child sponsored is one step towards giving children a hopeful future.

Learn more about how an education opens up opportunities and reminds children of their purpose in Christ. 👉 www.livingwateradoptachild.org/2026/09/09/breaking-the-cycle-of-poverty-one-school-supply-at-a-time/
