November is Youth HOPE Month — Youth Homelessness Outreach, Prevention, and Education! 🙌 This entire month is a time for all of those who care about the wellbeing of children to raise awareness and inspire action for youth experiencing homelessness. 🌟

At CHS, we know the best way to end youth homelessness is to prevent it before it begins - and having resources when tough times happen. 💛

✏️ CHS is making a difference with:

1. Western M Power TLP – helping young adults build independence and life skills.
2. Treasure Coast WaveCREST BCP – providing safe shelter and family reunification support.
3. Palm Beach Safe Harbor BCP – offering housing, counseling, and guidance toward stability.

CHS connects youth and families with the resources they need before a crisis happens: keeping kids safe, supported, and on the path to success. 📚🍎

Learn more about Youth HOPE Month here: https://shorturl.at/ve8sY and follow them at 1800RUNAWAY.org! 💚

Stick with us all month long as we take part in Youth HOPE Month! 🙂

Community is important! I spoke to Michelle who is the Florida overdose specialist and spoke to me about how easy it is to get Narcan! It is free and you can get 3 boxes as a civilian!
We also paired our heads together to see what resources we can reach and what we can do as a community!
I hope we all have a wonderful Tuesday!

As we wrap up this week and we feel the cold breeze, I hope you all remember to keep your heads up and your jackets on!

Jayla’s Voice; had an amazing training on what is going on in the streets, and encouraged those who attended to understand the signs of substance abuse and the reality of the kids who may use it and the accidents that may happen, there is so much we don’t understand about fentanyl and the reality of how such a little amount could harm our youth…

October has already been filled with so much education for our team, and I am so glad we were able to talk and have this brought to our attention!

October is Domestic Violence Awareness month. Supporting those in your life by advocating with them and caring for them through the mental and physical hardships they may go through. We have amazing community partners here in pensacola, and we appreciate them as they help our survivors get back on their feet!

Never be afraid to reach out about domestic violence, whether you or someone you know is going through it. Support is out there!
