What a privilege to meet this man whom Jesus sought out in his most desperate hour! We wrote about his incredible story previously and Adam was able to meet him in person this week in Haiti. Adam encouraged him in his decision to follow Jesus and to keep seeking the face of God!

We’re so grateful to be part of a church family that believes in supporting and sending people on mission. This morning at service, Adam was prayed over before heading to Haiti tomorrow morning, along with some wonderful friends of ours who are going to Kenya.

Please cover Adam and our team in Haiti this week- May the Lord continue to build his Church there and to minister to the hopeless and brokenhearted in a devastated land.

This is a photo of a man from our latest outreach in Haiti.
He was violent. He robbed people at gunpoint and knife-tip.
He was addicted to alcohol and drugs.
He carried around a red voodoo towel from a voodoo priest for protection from the spirits.

But then Jesus...

One of our team members came across his path as he was out sharing the Gospel. As he shared with this man, he started to break down and discuss his destructive life and how broken he feels. He felt depressed all week and was convinced in his heart that something positive would happen to him this very week. He heard the story of Jesus and wanted to become a part of his story! He gave us his knife, burned the red voodoo towel, and prayed to begin a relationship with Jesus!!!! No one is too far gone that Jesus cannot step in and save.
Hallelujah!!!!

It’s what our team calls “Harvest Week” in Burundi. They’ve been teaching the Word of God at 2 schools in Gatumba for many years. This week, after a few weeks of teachings, they gave an opportunity to the students to receive Jesus Christ as Lord. Praise God, 93 students made that commitment!!! 🎉 The thankful team will continue to follow up with weekly discipleship.
