Scholarship Opportunity! NWFAEP is awarding one (1) $1,000 scholarship to a student who is interested in pursuing or is currently pursuing a career in an environmental field and might need financial assistance. The recipient will receive a scholarship with the intention of furthering their education. The winner will be announced in January 2026. The application deadline is December 1. This session, presented by Darryl Boudreau, Resource Planning Program Manager at the Northwest Florida Water Management District, will discuss water quality challenges in Florida’s Panhandle and the District’s approaches to developing innovative, lasting, and meaningful solutions. : Don't forget about our 3rd Annual Northwest Florida Regional Resiliency Seminar on June 12th from 8:30am-4:35pm at the Sanders Beach-Corrine Jones Resources Center.

This full-day will feature presentations and panel discussions from state, regional and local agencies and organizations covering climate resiliency topics. Panelists will also discuss how funding agencies, local government and non-regulatory organizations facilitate resiliency in northwest Florida. An optional field trip is scheduled for the following day, Friday June 13th from 9-11:30am.
