The Blue Angels Foundation’s mission is to support wounded veterans. The wounded veterans who proudly volunteered to serve our nation and preserve our freedoms are the same people today who need our time, treasure and talents to provide a path of transition back to the civilian community and a life of dignity and fulfilment. Thanks to you, each year we are expanding our footprint and impact in cri

tical areas facing the wounded veteran and their family through our association with key benefactors around the nation. We have identified and are supporting organizations that assist veterans in key areas: transitional housing, counseling, PTSD resolution, permanent housing, life skills, transportation and employment. Freedom Station is a unique recovery transition center and housing facility that provides injured warriors with the acclimation time, guidance and resources to successfully make the transition from military service to civilian life. Research and Recognition Project is the successful ongoing drug-free study that seeks resolution to Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder. Military Warriors Support Foundation provides a broad range of services including skills training, transitional apartments, transportation services, employment opportunities, and mortgage-free homes for veterans and Gold Star families. NS2 Serves was established to give back to the community by training and employing veterans in high-tech careers. K9s For Warriors is dedicated to providing service canines to warriors suffering from PTSD, traumatic brain injury, and/or military sexual trauma as a result of military service post 9/11.The goal is to empower the warrior to return to civilian life with dignity and independence. Fairways for Warriors provides a Training and Life Center that is a doorway to hope and a path to physical and emotional growth through socializing and the rehabilitative nature of the game of golf. Here at home, across this great country, 22 veterans are taking their lives every day. We need to do all we can to reduce and eliminate this loss of life. Please join with us in providing for these critical needs for our veterans, their families and our nation. Contributions are deductible as provided by law. June is PTSD Awareness Month.

For many veterans, the effects of PTSD can continue long after military service ends. Some challenges are visible. Many are not. What matters is knowing that support is available and that no one has to face those struggles alone.

The Blue Angels Foundation is proud to support organizations that provide PTSD treatment, service dogs, transitional housing, peer support, and other resources that help veterans heal and move forward.

Together, we can raise awareness, reduce stigma, and help ensure more veterans get the support they deserve.

If you or a veteran you know needs immediate support, call or text 988 and press 1 for the Veterans Crisis Line.

“Our greatest glory is not in never falling, but in rising every time we fall.”

Every setback is a chance to keep going, to keep growing and to keep moving forward. Strength is not about perfection. It is about getting back up when we fall.

Sleep problems were a factor in more than half of veteran su***des in 2023.

The signs of mental health struggles are not always visible.

What may look like a restless night, exhaustion, or trouble concentrating can sometimes be part of a much bigger battle.

During Mental Health Awareness Month, we want veterans and their families to know that support is available and reaching out is a sign of strength.

Better sleep can be one part of healing, but no one has to face these challenges alone.

If you or someone you know is struggling, call or text 988 and press 1 to reach the Veterans Crisis Line.

Wednesday Wisdom.

"Slow is smooth. Smooth is fast."

In a recent interview, Scott Kartvedt, President of the Blue Angels Foundation, shared a leadership principle that applies far beyond aviation.

By slowing down and doing things the right way, we create space for people to speak up and say, "I'm not ready."

That simple act can be incredibly empowering.

Whether in the cockpit, in the workplace, or in daily life, mental well-being begins when people feel safe to ask for help, take their time, and get the support they need.

During Mental Health Awareness Month, this reminder is especially meaningful. Progress does not have to be rushed. Sometimes the best way forward is to slow down, trust the process, and take one steady step at a time.

More good days together.

For many veterans living with PTSD, service dogs can provide more than companionship. They can help reduce anxiety, restore confidence, and make everyday activities feel possible again.

A recent study found that veterans with service dogs reported meaningful improvements in their mental health and greater ability to engage with family and community.

At the Blue Angels Foundation, we are proud to support organizations like Warrior Canine Connection that help veterans find healing, connection, and renewed purpose.

Sometimes the most powerful support walks beside you.
