It was a picture perfect day for the Pensacola Civitan Club's 31st Annual Picnic. Thanks to everyone who came for the festivities. And a special thanks to the volunteers and local agency staff members, caregivers, and performers who made the picnic a big success.💛

JOIN THE BLUE NOTES @ THE 31ST ANNUAL CIVITAN COMMUNITY PICNIC THIS SATURDAY! The Pyramid Blue Notes will be performing at 11 am CDT this Saturday, April 11 at the Pensacola Civitan Club's annual Community Picnic at Seville Square!

We'll also be selling original art, prints, jewelry & crocheted items under the gazebo, so stop by, say hi to Hannah and get some AMAZING art!

The Pensacola Civitan Club Annual Community Picnic is free and is held each year in appreciation for the agencies that serve individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities and their clients and families.

The Pensacola Civitan Club is a longtime supporter of Pyramid and other local nonprofits. They are dedicated to serving individual and community needs through volunteerism, with an emphasis on helping people with developmental disabilities.

Our 31st Annual Civitan Community Picnic is tomorrow, Saturday, April 11th. Weather forecast looks great – sunny and 81-degrees!

Boy Scout Troop 409 will start off the picnic at 11 am with the Pledge of Alleciance – followed by the Pyramid Show Choir. Next, live performance by the band, “Kingdom Soul”.

Be sure to check out the cars from the Gulf Coast Model A Club.

Civitans had a wonderful time at this summer's 105th Civitan International Convention held in Dunwoody/Atlanta, Georgia in early August. The convention was held at the Crowne Plaza and Civitans enjoyed listening, learning, and leading! There were workshops, business sessions, scientists from the Civitan International Research Center in Birmingham, Trivia Night, a President's Council social and lots of Civitan fellowship. Next summer's convention is in Louisville, Kentucky.

The next meeting of the Pensacola Civitan Club is Wednesday, August 20th, at the SCI Building, downtown. Lunch from Jason's Deli will be available starting at 11:30 am and the meeting begins at noon. We're excited about our guest speaker: Ronald Rivera, Community Relations - Neighborhood Specialist, with the Escambia County Sheriff's Office. Join us.

Fall is in the air.🙂🙃😉 And just like that, we're back to 2 meetings a month.

For our 1st September meeting, we welcomed GUEST SPEAKER Candy McGuyre, Executive Committee, Autism Pensacola. Candy provided a great overview of one of our area's best resources.
