WE HAVE RAISED $15,000 ALREADY
CAN WE HIT 20?? 💪🏼🙌🏼

This is the ScrubCaps for a Cause summer fundraiser event. We are a nonprofit 501(c)3 organization that raises funds to provide scholarships for women in medical school, pursuing a career as a physician or surgeon.

I asked some of our donors to tell us why they support women in medicine, and SCFAC in our mission. Here is one of our wonderful donors and her young daughter to tell us WHY this matters. 🥹🥹🫶🏻🫶🏻

For each small, medium, or large Libby bag sold, get a free small, medium, or large Vide Poche leather woven catchall tray (saddle stitched). Reversible as shown. Size of gift tray will be the “size” of the bag purchased.

Peter Nitz has agreed to do this in collaboration with ScrubCaps for a Cause. This is a 501(c)3 run entirely by volunteers since 2018. All funds raised go to scholarships awarded yearly to women in allopathic and osteopathic medical school. We have awarded over 130k to date.

Happy Holidays and Thank You so much to who supports ScrubCaps for a Cause (SCFAC)! This is such a fun part of the end of the year, please celebrate with me … Announcing scholarship winners!

This is our fourth year awarding scholarships to women in medical school. Cummulatively, SCFAC has awarded over $100,000 to support women in medical education - to become physicians and surgeons.

This group of six each receives $5,000 in scholarship awards.

Thank you so much for your support Sheba Shah, MD for your support! Dr. Shah donated and with her 2 caps gave one to her dear friend Angie Boparai, MD ! These physicians have been friends through training, and are both Pain Management physicians. We celebrate you both, and thank you for the support!

When I asked Dr. Shah why she supports SCFAC, she replied:

“Women belong anywhere and everywhere they have the passion and drive to be. Our feminine touches are all the more powerful in the field of medicine where compassion comes first and foremost.
