Three Years of Leadership. One Powerful Test of Strength.

Three years ago, a new FL-511 Continuum of Care Charter was written and approved by vote, establishing a new Leadership Council and membership structure.

Who could have predicted the timing?

For three years, this leadership has grown, strengthened partnerships, and built a foundation that is now being tested by a natural disaster.

Today, the FL-511 CoC Leadership Council came together for an emergency meeting. The knowledge, experience, and community representation in that room were collective, strategic, and strong.

Important decisions were made—not just to respond to the storm, but to guide our two-county Continuum of Care through recovery and help families regain stability.

Opening Doors Northwest Florida is stronger than ever, standing alongside leaders and partners committed to getting families back on their feet.

To the leaders representing Escambia and Santa Rosa counties, thank you for your dedication, wisdom, and willingness to lead when our communities need you most.

Our strength isn't just in our individual organizations. It's in what we can accomplish TOGETHER!
