Five Flags Sertoma of Pensacola was so happy to show up and support our friends at the Liberty Sertoma Bash this past Saturday! 🤠🇺🇸
What a wonderful night filled with good music, great friends, and an even greater purpose. Blackwater Country Band had everyone dancing, Sonny’s food was delicious, and the boots were out in full force!
We’re proud to stand alongside Liberty Sertoma as the proceeds benefit The Hearing & Speech Foundation and Capstone Adaptive Learning.
Thank you to everyone who came out and made it such a special evening. Moments like these remind us why we love being part of this Sertoma family. ❤️

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our longtime member and friend, William “Bill” Howell Land, on August 17, 2026.
Bill was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather, a proud U.S. Army veteran who served in Vietnam and received the Bronze Star and Silver Star, and a man whose quiet kindness and humor made him a valued part of our club. He gave generously of his time and always showed up ready to serve.
Bill Land was awarded the Sertoman of the year 2023-2024.
A private funeral will be held at the family’s request. In lieu of flowers, those wishing to honor Bill’s memory may make a donation to a charity of their choice.
We extend our deepest sympathy to Karen, his children, grandchildren, and all who loved him. Bill’s example of service and friendship will not be forgotten.
He will be missed!

Team Entry Fees:
• Upper Division – $60 per team
• Lower Division – $50 per team
In-person registration is also available beginning at 12 noon on the day of the tournament.
Bring your cooler with your favorite beverage!
All proceeds help support those in our community at risk or impacted by hearing loss through education and support.

What a night! 🎉💛💙💛🎉
A huge thank-you to everyone who came out to our Sertoma Bingo at Bayview Senior Center yesterday. The room was full, the numbers were flying, and the laughter was even louder!
We’re so grateful for every player, volunteer, and supporter who helped make it a success. Your presence helps fund the local projects that matter — from hearing health to youth programs and community support right here in the Pensacola Bay area.
Special shout-out to our amazing volunteers who kept everything running smoothly. We couldn’t do it without you!
Already looking forward to the next one. Until then… keep those daubers ready 💃🏼

Thanks to Bret Barrow Executive Director of Pensacola Symphony Orchestra for speaking to us Tuesday at our meeting!

Bret Barrow is one of the thousands of fifth-graders who attended the concerts through the years

"I remember a few things about it," said Barrow, who came from a musical family and was already singing in the church chorus when he attended the big show at the Saenger Theatre. "I remember getting dressed up and riding on the bus to the Saenger. I remember 'Flight of the Bumblebee' and how amazing and fast it was.

Today, he is the PSO's executive director and principal trombonist !
