Thanks to Bret Barrow Executive Director of Pensacola Symphony Orchestra for speaking to us Tuesday at our meeting!
Bret Barrow is one of the thousands of fifth-graders who attended the concerts through the years
"I remember a few things about it," said Barrow, who came from a musical family and was already singing in the church chorus when he attended the big show at the Saenger Theatre. "I remember getting dressed up and riding on the bus to the Saenger. I remember 'Flight of the Bumblebee' and how amazing and fast it was.
Today, he is the PSO's executive director and principal trombonist !
