You Can Make a Difference Behind the Scenes 💻☕️

Not every volunteer role happens in a kitchen or out in the community. Sometimes, it looks like a laptop, a thank you note, or helping someone check in.

Bright Bridge Ministries is looking for administrative volunteers to help support the work happening every day.

You might help with:
✔️ Client check-in
✔️ Data entry
✔️ Bookkeeping
✔️ Writing thank you notes
✔️ General office support

Monday–Friday, primarily 9:30 AM–2:30 PM.

Your time, skills, and heart can help keep our ministry moving forward. And yes, you can make a difference!

Ready to serve? Email [email protected] to get started.

A bridge from crisis to stability. 🩵

For men transitioning off the streets, a safe place to stay can be the first step toward a very different future.

His Place provides temporary housing, structure and support as men work toward recovery, employment and stable housing.

Your support helps make that next step possible. You’re helping provide more than a place to sleep. You’re helping create a place to save, rebuild and prepare for a fresh start.

Help us build brighter futures. 🧡

On Sundays, we count our blessings, and we’re especially grateful for the young hearts and helping hands that choose to serve at Bright Bridge. 🩵🧡💙

Maybe it’s for National Honor Society, Florida Bright Futures, a Civics class, a small group, a mission trip, or simply because they want to help. Whatever brings you through our doors, we’re happy to have you!

Youth volunteers must be accompanied by a responsible adult, stay with their group, and serve with kindness and respect. And yes, that means appropriate clothing and closed toe shoes 👟😅

Your service can help you reach your goals while making a difference for someone else. That’s a pretty great opportunity for everyone.

Thank you for serving with us. We can’t wait to meet you 😊

A hot meal can be a first step. 💛

Every weekday, Bright Bridge serves hot, healthy meals to around 100 - 150 people. But this ministry is about more than food. It’s a chance to sit down, feel welcomed, and begin conversations about what someone may need next.

In 2024, more than 1,750 people received meals through our Food Ministry Program, made possible in part by support from United Way of West Florida.

Want to help us keep the table open?

Give today and help provide a meal, dignity, and some hope. 🍽️

Some people prefer to give financially. Others love knowing exactly what their gift is helping provide.

The Bright Bridge Ministries wishlist is another way to give, with everyday items that help our neighbors move from homelessness and crisis toward stability.

From gift cards and bikes to laundry supplies, cleaning products, and more… every item (big or small) has a purpose.

If tangible giving is your thing, take a look at our wishlist online, and see how you can help.

It is ever so appreciated! 💛

There’s something special about coming together for a greater purpose. 💙

Last week, Bright Bridge Ministries was honored to join United Way of West Florida for their United We Thrive Annual Celebration at Sowell Farms.

We celebrated the incredible impact happening across our community and the people making it possible.

When we work together for our neighbors, real change happens.

And we want you to be part of it 🫶

Give your time, talent or treasure. There’s a place for you at Bright Bridge.🩵🧡💙

Let’s build a brighter future together.

About last night… 🌌

Bright Bridge Ministries had a blast at our very first Gallery Night!

We loved getting out into our community, sharing who we are, what we do, and why it matters.

For 20 years, we’ve been serving our beloved neighbors experiencing homelessness and food insecurity. And yet, we’re discovering that many people in our own community are still just learning about Bright Bridge.

Thank you to everyone who stopped by, sampled Chef Stanley’s delicious food, donated, or pledged their time and talents. You are already helping us build brighter bridges.

Missed us this time? Come see us at the next Gallery Night in front of Artel Art Gallery with the other nonprofits.

We can’t wait to meet you 🩵🧡💙

Homelessness is happening right here in Pensacola and across the Panhandle.

We may not see every person experiencing it, but we are doing our best to make sure our unhomed, beloved neighbors are seen, known, valued, and reminded that they matter.

This morning, Rev. Ashlee Mosley Brown, our Executive Director of Bright Bridge Ministries, joined Bruce Cady of Opening Doors of Northwest Florida on PEP Talk with Meg to talk about homelessness and the local work helping people find stability.

Listen. Learn. Get involved in giving a hand up to those in need.

Give your time. Give your treasure. Help us build a brighter bridge forward. It can make a world of difference! 🩵🧡💙
