📣 I am thrilled to announce that the Perdido Key Witches & Werewolves Halloween Paddle has been officially transferred to the Perdido Key Area Chamber of Commerce.
Over the past five years, Cheri Bone & Judy W. Bone and our dedicated head witches, and I have worked tirelessly to build this event from the ground up.
Passing the 🧨 torch to the Chamber opens up incredible new avenues for local partnership and growth, and I look forward to seeing them apply their organizational expertise to scale the event's success.
💫 Reflecting on our journey, I am incredibly proud of the impact we’ve made. We established a major recreational event in Perdido Key, that drove community economic engagement by converting local business contributions into event prizes, and that ultimately raised $6,000 to fund the distribution of 60,000 pounds of food from Feeding the Gulf Coast, for free to our local community.
Thank you to everyone who has been a part of this milestone-packed journey with us in past, as we couldn’t have done it with out each and everyone of you!! 🫂
Cheers to the past & cheers to the future 🙌
The Perdido Key Area Chamber of Commerce is excited to announce that it has officially assumed ownership and management of the popular Witches & Werewolves Paddle for a Purpose event, ensuring that this unique community tradition will continue for years to come. 🔮🧹🎃
The Witches & Werewolves Paddle at Hub Stacey's At The Point has become a favorite fall celebration, bringing together paddlers of all ages dressed as witches, werewolves, and other festive characters for a fun-filled day on the water! The event has earned a reputation for its creativity, community spirit, and ability to showcase the natural beauty of Perdido Key while supporting local businesses.
The Chamber wants to extend its sincere appreciation to the previous organizers, Cheri and Judy Bone, whose vision and dedication made the Witches & Werewolves Paddle such a successful event. Their hard work laid the foundation for what has become one of the area's most anticipated seasonal activities.
Additional event details, including registration information, sponsorship opportunities, and event schedules, will be announced in the coming weeks.
