The Order of Saint Hildegard

Our leadership team is not fully represented in this photo, but it's fun to see them gathered round our recent cohort members at our Greening Retreat in August. The tree in the background is a very special "Queen of the Woods" and a witness to ordinations thus far.

Feast Day Announcement!

The path is open! Now. You can join the order as a general member.

✅You will be offered a login, your own "classroom" and an invitation to join a Greening group (which is a spiritual development and resilience group and one of the things our cohort members love the most).
Now general members will have the same opportunity.

✅ You will be invited to monthly online community Greening where we have a variety of folks, including our leadership, guide us in meditation, interfaith and interspiritual devotion, and reflection in small groups.

✅ You will have discounts on special events and invitations to in-person events

✅ You will have your own module to reflect on our organization's values with our Abbess (and other key leaders) as expressed through the daily aims (like our rule of life) should you choose to journey with us.

✅ This path can eventually lead, if you choose, to an ordination or commissioning that is *different* from our chaplaincy track. It is a service-oriented subgroup of our order which is being formed now.

🌿 You choose the membership dues amount that fits your financial situation from $15-40 monthly

Go now to our link in comments, fill out your information and you will receive within 3 days your login information and other appropriate links.

This painting known as Man in Sapphire Blue or the Blue Christ is a famous 12th-century visionary illustration from Hildegard's theological text (Scivias).

The Order of Hildegard enjoyed our time at the Wild Goose Festival and wish we could have connected with more of you but then again don't we all wish that the sky hadn't opened up and dumped chaos?!

For those of you who wanted to connect with us about our community chaplaincy program, message us here! We are offering unprecedented scholarships for this seventh cohort starting this month! Want to speak with one of our community chaplains? I have a list of names of folks who would love to speak with you.

What will you gain from our program? Confidence. Direction. New spiritual practices. A sense of your leadership in the world. Innovation. Rootedness. Courage. Authenticity. Presence. Theological education. Space holding skills. Confronting your fears . All of our competencies, modules and objectives are online, but sometimes a conversation goes a lot further. Please reach out and fill out that application today! Time is ticking. Our program is about relationship and collaboration. It's about vision and innovation. You are not joining a cohort where you'll be writing papers, you'll be inscribing new messages on your heart! You'll be imagining ways that you can be the chaplain in the communities you already know. What will you do with the program? You can apply to be ordained and join our organization, you can create new opportunities, you can advance the ones you're already in, the list goes on.

Interfaith. Interspiritual. All backgrounds. The time is truly now.

This upcoming cohort has a special opportunity to gain peace and reconciliation skills from worldwide learners, particularly those in Ireland!

Singing the praises of our OH community would take all day, but here is one standout. Jaymi Hendrix showed up Friday night to our Greening Conference with hot barbecue meatballs after a *car accident*. She brought grit and sunshine through the weekend, encouraging, serving, and growing in relationships. She then went on to the Wild Goose Festival and represented her own work while continuing to be a face for The Order of Hildegard 🌿. Jaymi provided food at every meal our Greening event, beverages, hugs, volunteerism and commitment in ways that surely point to the success of her future projects. Grateful for her and for her work in the world.
