💕 Our BIGGEST HOCO Season Yet! 🎀

40 high school girls served, but the impact goes far beyond the dress!

This season reminded us that when you create a safe space where girls feel welcomed, valued, and supported, confidence grows.

At our new resource HUB, girls found more than a free dress. They found encouragement, connection, and a place where they belong.

💕 The dress brings her through the door. The safe space brings her back.

🎀 PERIOD POVERTY DOESN’T PAUSE FOR A HURRICANE! 🌀

Ahead of Hurricane Isaias, 4EVR DEZ Teen Ambassadors packed and distributed 2,000 feminine hygiene products to help ensure girls have access to essential supplies before the storm. We have another 5000 products ready to deploy.

What 7000 products equate to-
🎀 233 girls given a week supply readily available
🎀 1,400 girls given one day worth of supplies

When families are preparing for a hurricane, period products shouldn’t be an added worry. 💕

Through Project Period, we’re reminding our community that menstrual health is an essential need, even during an emergency.

A sweet THANK YOU to our amazing dessert sponsors (below) who have helped us celebrate, encourage, and empower teen girls through 4EVR DEZ events!💗

Now that our HUB is becoming a reality, we are looking for more bakers, bakeries, and dessert-loving businesses who want to sprinkle a little sweetness into our mission! 🍪 There’s just something about celebrating finding a dress with a dessert! 🎉

💕 Upcoming Sweet Sponsorship Opportunities:

* 🧁 January – Night to Shine Boutique Night- serves 150 young and seasoned women.
* 🍰 February – Spill the Tea Event
Our signature event that supports our mission and spreads awareness; serves 125.
* 🧁March – Prom Trunk Shows (5 days)
Serves up to 100 teen girls in prom formal attire.
* 🎀 Monthly – Teen Ambassador Meetings- serves 40 teen girls.
*👩‍🍳May- Krewe of SWAT Bread Pudding Bake-off ; register to be a bread pudding baker. Last year we raised $65k in local funding and in kind donations.

One minute she needs you. The next, she’s pushing you away!

She’s learning independence while still needing reassurance. She wants freedom but also needs to know you’re her safe place.

Don’t mistake her need for space as her not needing YOU. 💗

🎀 MOM CHECK-IN

☐ Am I giving her room to grow?
☐ Am I listening more than lecturing?
☐ Am I respecting her independence while keeping healthy boundaries?
☐ Does she know my love doesn’t change with her mood?

💕 THIS WEEK’S MOM CHALLENGE:

When she pulls away, don’t take it personally. Give her space, but remind her: “I’m here when you need me. Always.”

As our community recovers from Hurricane Isaias, we’re reminded that storms affect more than homes; they impact our teens’ emotional well-being and access to everyday essentials.

On World Mental Health Day and Period Action Day, we’re raising awareness about mental wellness, period poverty, and the importance of connection.

💕 Our new Teen Girl Resource & Wellness HUB is being created to provide a safe space, essential resources, mentorship, and a place to belong.

Because every girl deserves to feel supported, through every storm and every season.

Hurricane Isaias has us all wanting to stay in bed, scroll TikTok, and disappear under the blankets. 🛏️📱

But sometimes bed rotting + endless scrolling can make anxiety and overthinking even louder.

It’s okay to rest, but don’t forget to take care of your mind, too. 💗

Rest is healthy. Isolation doesn’t have to be your storm plan.

💕 Dear Mom Monday,

You’re building a career, managing a home, keeping up with schedules, and trying to be there for your teenage daughter through every season.

But you were never meant to hold everything together.

Some days, the strongest thing you can do is loosen your grip, give yourself grace, let go and let God. 🙏🏼

Your daughter doesn’t need a mom who has everything figured out. She needs a mom who shows her what faith looks like when life feels overwhelming.
