Join the City of Pensacola for a public meeting on Tuesday, June 16 from 5 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. at the Pensacola Library (239 N. Spring Street) to learn about the Bayfront Parkway Landscaping Design Project.

Residents and visitors can hear about how the project will enhance the future shared-use path, which is currently underway by the Florida Department of Transportation.

The design project on Bayfront Parkway from South Tarragona Street to North 14th Avenue will include landscaping, trees, shrubs, groundcovers, and amenities designed to create a more attractive and comfortable space for walking and biking.

The public meeting will be a listening and input session, providing participants the chance to offer feedback on the project’s conceptual design.

Community feedback will be considered as final construction documents are developed, with completion anticipated by the end of 2026.

Funding for the project will be provided by FDOT following the anticipated summer 2028 completion of the shared-use path.

The City of Pensacola invites the community to a SunTrail Public Input Workshop on Tuesday, Feb. 24 from 5:30–7:30 p.m. at the Saenger Theatre, 118 S. Palafox St.

This interactive workshop is your opportunity to share ideas and provide feedback on the Downtown Pensacola Waterfront Connector Trail which will ultimately link into the statewide Florida Department of Transportation SUN Trail network, creating safer, more accessible connections between neighborhoods, parks, downtown and local businesses. 🚶‍♂️🚲

Consultants from SCAPE and AtkinsRéalis will be on-site to answer questions and discuss the vision for expanded trail connectivity.

Free event parking is available on the third level of the Jefferson Street Parking Garage, 53 S. Jefferson St., in addition to on-street parking.

Escambia Co - FDOT will hold a hybrid public meeting concerning the US 90 (Davis Hwy) at US 90 (Scenic Hwy) intersection improvement project, on Thu, Jan. 29, from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. (CST).

Citizens are encouraged to attend the virtual meeting at www.nwflroads.com/calendar. Those who are unable to participate virtually may attend the meeting in-person at the Upward Church, Fellowship Hall, 9859 North Davis Highway, Pensacola. Pre-registration is required for the virtual format and encouraged for in-person attendees. The same materials will be presented for each format.
