We're in the election's home stretch! Just 23% of Placer County voters have returned their ballots to date so there's still time to help me!

Here's a few ways you can help:



1. Join Get Out The Vote canvassing efforts. We'll start this final effort on Friday, 11/1, and continue to Election Day, Tuesday, 11/5. Multiple shifts are available, and we'll tailor your turf to support me. Invite your friends to join you, and we can reach even more voters during the critical last weekend before Election Day.

I am incredibly honored to have the support of the organization representing the dedicated educators at Del Oro and throughout our district, the Associated Teachers of Placer. Their trust in my 19 years of experience in education means a great deal, as they know it gives me a unique perspective on the challenges they face—including the complexities of Competency-Based Education (CBE) and the impact budget concerns can have on the classroom.

With nearly two decades in the field, I’ve seen firsthand what our teachers need to succeed and what our students need to thrive. I’m committed to working alongside our teachers to address these challenges thoughtfully and effectively, ensuring that our district continues to support its educators and students in meaningful ways.

I am honored to have the support of Maureen “Mo” Ward, a lifelong resident of Placer County and an influential member of our community. Mo’s dedication to our district and her passion for student success have guided her work as a board member in expanding critical programs across Placer Union High School District.

With Mo’s leadership, the district has introduced 24 Vocational Pathways across 12 industries, enhanced academic options with International Baccalaureate and AP courses, and launched 95 Dual Credit courses in partnership with Sierra Community College. Her efforts ensure every student has access to a welcoming, supportive, and safe learning environment that empowers them to thrive.
