YouthPromise Centre Kenya

Spent some good time with these young men this week. Being present and learning about them before thinking about what they need is desirable.
Praying , laughing, games, eating and sharing stories together.

About us
Youth Promise Centre is a community-based organization in Kenya dedicated to empowering young people and vulnerable groups through education, mentorship, and social development. At the heart of its mission is bridging the digital divide by offering ICT training that equips teens, youth and adults with essential computer skills to improve academic performance, employability, and entrepreneurship.
Beyond digital literacy, the Centre runs mentorship and leadership programs that instill discipline, integrity, and responsible citizenship, preparing young people to become leaders and innovators in their communities. Girls’ empowerment initiatives address gender-specific challenges by providing menstrual health education, vocational training, and advocacy for equal access to education.
The Centre also fosters community cohesion through holiday camps, medical outreach, and sensitization programs on food security and health awareness. By mobilizing resources for disadvantaged children and orphans, it reduces educational inequality and supports vulnerable families.
Through its holistic approach, Youth Promise Centre is shaping a generation of empowered, responsible, and innovative leaders who will drive sustainable social transformation across Kenya and beyond.

This is what a week of missionary work can do and leave everyone amazed of how the Love of Christ works beyond racial boundaries.
Apart from being a photojournalist this missionary did not miss an opportunity to empathize with others he played a key role to be with everyone. Youth Promise has an opportunity for serving others wholeheartedly. Ephesians 6:7-8

Mission Week Blessings Continue!!!

We give thanks to the leadership and congregation of New Ridge Fellowship for sending their mission team to us lead by Bob Carle. They came at the perfect time — while our nurses in Embu have been on strike for four weeks.

We also celebrate the dedication of Gertrude Hospital in Mugoya** and commend Joseph Njiru for his outstanding leadership. The great staff from Youth Promise and the community volunteers were very supportive. Together, they ensured that families received care, hope, and encouragement during this challenging season.

Over 200 people minus kids benefitted from the medical camp, and many more wanted to come the following day — a true sign of the need and impact of this mission.
And now, this past Monday, even more children showed up for the Holiday Camp, filling our space with joy, laughter, and learning. What a blessing to see the community responding with such enthusiasm! Thank you UrbanPromise International for empowering indigenous ministries to serve better. We are blessed to have Marclus Munene serving over there.

We honor these partnerships and pray that the Lord continues to bless New Ridge, Gertrude Hospital, Youth Promise staff, community Health Promoters and volunteers and Nurse Joseph for their generosity and commitment to serving His people. 🙏❤️
