Dear Members,
For those that were there, you know what a wonderful celebration it was yesterday to honor our Blessed Mother of Grace on the 100th anniversary of the formation of our Lodge/Society.
The Mass with the procession followed by benediction and exposition of the Blessed Sacrament was moving for all involved. And as usual, DiPaolo's outdid themselves with the amazing banquet they provided us at Maria's by DiPaolo's (our old Washington Club property).
I would like thank all that helped make this celebration Holy and Sacred as well as just great fun, and the 100th anniversary committee for taking the time to meet to come up with ideas.
I would also like to personally thank the individuals who gave of their time and talent to help make the celebration as wonderful as it was.
My wife Patrisia and sister Michele for working on the keychains and prayer cards;
my daughter Olivia for designing and preparing the programs;
Ashley and Steve for their wonderful music;
Joan and the St. Gabriel the Archangel Choir for their beautiful and Holy music at Mass;
Frs. Newton, Cruz and Carmel for celebrating the Holy Mass;
Jamie, my son Tommy, and my daughter's boyfriend Ethan for helping to lift and move the Mother of Grace statue throughout the church during the procession;
Lori and the Altar and Rosary Society for lending us the stand for our banner;
Janet for providing the pictures and historical items from our Lodge for display;
Linda Huff for the use of the ribbons and pins for the statue;
the DiPaolo family for their wonderful meal;
Marianne and Italian Kitchen for the cake;
The Romansky's for video taping;
all who shared pictures;
and last but not least my father Leon and Steve Ulissi for providing us the wonderful history of our Lodge.
I hope I remembered everyone but if I forgot anyone, please forgive me and know that your contribution was appreciated!
I shared some pictures on our page, but if anyone has any additional pictures or videos for us to share, please send them to me at my email address.
Once again, thank everyone for a beautiful and Holy 100th Anniversary celebration!
Tom
